I need something relatively cheap.. I was thinking this GK cab, since it's cheap. I don't want anything more than 2x10's.

I've been playing for over 12 years and always had a Yorkville combo amp with a 15"woofer/3" tweeter. I've never had a head/cab combo for bass. I used to post on this forum about 6 years ago under a different name, but was on hiatus from playing bass, but I've gotten back into my music over the past year, so yeah.. Anyways... :blah:

Now I'm running one of these and I need a cab for it.

Thanks!

Haha thanks! I don't actually get it till tomorrow night.. I trade a Digitech RP50 straight up for it.. The dude said it just needs to have the pots cleaned, but that's easy to do.

I've been using my Orange Tiny Terror on bass lately, and it sounds great.. But, alas, I needed a bass amp.

SWR.. I'm partial to.. I'm a huge Ampeg fan, and miss my friend's SVT-CL w 8x10.

Any one ever use any Peavey cabs? Oh yeah, another thing, I'm usually playing at medium-loudish bedroom levels, but still want something that can handle small gigs too.

I've heard LOTS of raves about avatars 210... a bit more money but you should be able to find one used for about the same price as that GK

these are on sale for 250 https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=BR210

and I can personally vouch for them... I've had one for almost 15 years now, and its been through absolute hell and still sounds great

I have the older G-K 2x10 with a horn. I think new it cost around 400-500 bucks, but I got mine on Craigslist for about 225.00.

It was the top of the line at the time (pre-Neo) and let me tell you, it is UNBELIEVABLE! Try to find one. I was always a 15" speaker fan, but this cab is loud, focused and can handle serious watts (at least no probs with my G-K 400RB-IV).

not to :deadhorse:, but my "bedroom rig" is an swr Working pro 700 running through an SWR working pro 2x10. Add a 15"" and it out does a loud drummer, a mesa triple and a fender hundred watt:thu:

Yeah, I have a Peavey 210TVX, and although a bit heavy for a 210, it's a great cab - a used one in decent shape can usually be had for around $200, and would probable serve your purposes quite well...
