Haven't you seen Melodyne or AutoTune? These days ANYBODY can have a singing career. If you step up to a mic and speak the words, I can make them be on pitch and in rhythm.

It's really kind of sad.
:(

Yeah there was even an episode of the Simpsons where they used AutoTune for a boyband.:facepalm:

Yep. And there was a LOT of that in the "song", if you can call it that... :p

Meh...if she wants to do this, and people want to buy her songs, what do I care?

Good attitude. :thu:

However, I believe it's a sad commentary of the public. I remember when I was in Jr High, bands like The Police were popular. They were talented performers, but also talented witers, musicians and artists in general. :idk:

Do they make a pedal for bass too? I could probably benefit

And shame on Sting for ever acting in a movie or 2. How dare he do something other than music!

OK Grandpa. :poke:

There was plenty of cheesy {censored} being put out during the same time period. There are plenty of bands out right now that are original, creative, talented, and thought provoking.

Hayden coming out with this is not a sad commentary on anything. There has always been pop, and there has always been deeper stuff. It's a matter of whether you choose to look past the top 40 club list for it or not.
