Members Funkee1
Folks..... I love Heroes! However, the 3rd season so far, has been a tad lackluster. I persevered, hoping it would return to its' previous glory. I have been waiting for new episodes since Thanksgiving. Last night, the first new episode aired. What the Bob Saget? There was such a radical shift in the tone that I have to wonder if Tim Kring watches his own show. Sylar's a bad guy again, but he's being hunted by other bad guys..... Hiro has no powers now and Ando does..... Peter's a paramedic. He used to be a nurse. how'd he complete the training? Claire's going off to college. Wasn't she a junior 3 months ago? I'm not quite done with the show.... I'll stick it out till the end of the season......... But I see a shark in their future, and I see the Heroes cast on water skis. Members Funkee1
Yeah I tried watching last night and was like What the heck have I missed cause I feel totally lost! You didn't miss anything. They just jumped willy- nilly into a new plotline! I am sure cause I DVR'ed all Season 3 episodes this weekend, when G4 ran them so I would be up to speed. Members ModmanQ6
Since the future has been altered, cheerleader advanced placement could attest to Claire's situation, and Peter must've passed the EMT training in an alternate dimension. This also takes place 2-3 months since the last episode was aired. Nathan and HRGG have teamed up to form a Sentinals group apparently (sans actual Sentinels). Go cheerleader! You can do it, yes you can, bring the plane down with every man... Goooooo Mutants!!

Members squish_man24
There was a 2 month gap between when season 3 ended and when season 4 started. Peter must have finished his training during that time. One thing I'd like to know if whether or not Peter has his Dad's ability now, when he takes the powers of others, whether they still are able to use it, or if he absorbs it and they can't use it anymore. Either way... Claire and Nikki are still smokin'

Members Roger in the sky
There was such a radical shift in the tone that I have to wonder if Tim Kring watches his own show. yeah, a shift to what made season one great. characters . no more time-travel "OMG i'm in fuedal japan!" "here's a riddle from the future" "i'm your father!" hopefully no more new hero every week. i'm really glad that they're not saving the world again, lets face it the future is {censored}ed... Sylar's a bad guy again, but he's being hunted by other bad guys..... thank god Hiro has no powers now and Ando does..... that happened last season Peter's a paramedic. He used to be a nurse. how'd he complete the training? its a few months later, and as you said he was already a nurse so it wouldnt be that difficult. Claire's going off to college. Wasn't she a junior 3 months ago? they got her a GED, she is pretty well connected I'm not quite done with the show.... I'll stick it out till the end of the season......... But I see a shark in their future, and I see the Heroes cast on water skis. that shark got jumped in season two. i think this is their chance to bring the show back around,
Members HoldingThsMoment
Did the plane crash on an island with a mysterious smoke monster? "Our lives as we knew them are over." haha, i was thinking this as well. this half of the season seems like lost + prison break mixed into one ? anyways, i agree with funkee. watched since season 1 and it has lost a lot of what it was, and it's pretty all over the place. i pretty much lost all interest before when suresh because some slimy insect guy. hopefully they can spin it back around but right now it's not looking too good. what ever happened to micah? his aunt/cousin or whatever that chicken-restaurant girl's name was? they just kind of dropped off the planet. Members Incubitabus
Keep in mind guys - this is Volume 4. They are treating it more like a comic and less like a TV series. I think they are making a comeback. I actually really liked the twist. I'm also excited to see President Worf in action...

I agree with that. I mean, this is basically a TV series version of the X-Men. It's only going to work if they focus on a main group storyline and keep it to a limited number of important characters. Last season was very disjointed and kind of odd; I'm hoping that bringing most of the main characters together like they have now will help keep the storyline more continuous. CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted February 4, 2009 CMS Author Share Posted February 4, 2009 Peter's a paramedic. He used to be a nurse. how'd he complete the training? Claire's going off to college. Wasn't she a junior 3 months ago? Ben turned the wheel, and now they're all bouncing back and forth in time. You just missed the time they did that training and school work. What? Members J.
I watch it, and like it. The plot has been very easy to follow for me, and yes, they are treated it more like a comic book. I think they're doing the drastic plot change to avoid the "same ole same ole" trap. I still dig it.

Well, Like I said.... I haven't given up (Hell, I'm still watching ER, and will till the final episode), but Monday didn't do anything to convince me they've righted the ship. It just looks like it's sinking north to south instead of east to west.
