Members solderjunkie
I tried to search, but it's {censored}ed. If I add an 8 ohm 112 to my 8 ohm 410, will that put a greater strain on the 112? I want to get a little fullness at a more ear-friendly height on stage. Members AluminumNeck
Ehh I think you may wind up swamping the 1x12. Why not another 2x10 or 4x10 ?Try in ear monitors if your having issues with stage volume. I say this becuase unless your bring a big rig like I tend to cart around you are going to have trouble getting enough monitor and stage volume out of a 1x12. A properly powered 4x10 should be fiarly obnoxious but that depends on the music invovled. If you in a rock setting with 2 or more competeting sounds soruces minus the drums I would get another 4x10 or something sligthly more ignorant. Members gonzobassman
An 8 ohm 2-12 is looming in your future solderjunkie! I've seen the signs!!! Probably a 2-12 neo. Can't quite make out the brand, coz I only get "flashes",but it is there.

You'd be splitting the power evenly between the 4x10 and the 1x12. You'd likely induce farting in the 1x12 well before the threshold of farting in the 4x10. As a result, you'd have a crappier sound sooner than if you just ran the 4x10. It'd be better to simply put the 4x10 up on a non-functioning 1x12 to raise it to ear level than to actually plug in the 1x12.

I see lots of folks with a 410/210 rig and wondered how the power was distributed amongst them. If I could get "in the monitors" more, I wouldn't have this problem. I also have other options... my Eden WT-600 is a stereo amp (which I'm running bridged for my 410 alone). It can deliver 300 watts per side with an adjustable crossover and balance controls. I could run my Eden 210 wedge off of one channel and control the level to it independently. My 410 can run from the other channel. My little wedge makes an excellent monitor. Members AluminumNeck
Get an in ear monitor system. That would likely solve your problems and be one less big thing to cart around. Me I am a gluton for punishment so I hual around a big rig. That was my question. Members AluminumNeck
Why not an 8ohm 15 ? it will give alot more presence per watt if its a good quality speaker then a 12 will. What about a 4 ohm 410 with an 8 ohm 112?
