Members Rowka
Many tips and brief explanations. Basic answers to a lot of beginnerquestions. Worth a bookmark. http://www.techradar.com/news/computing/10-easy-guides-to-making-music-on-your-pc-526962 The tips are as brief as they can be, but carry a lot of info. For someonewho has eyes glazed over by the complexity of a bunch of applications thatdon't make sense, hardware that is non-intuitive to use, and no idea how toput it all together, the tips are a starting place to getting it sorted out.Might be worth a read as a review for all of us. Members Goofball Jones
On your PC that is....not just music in general. This is a great guide, no doubt. But I'm actually trying to wean myself off the PC for my hobbies....which is why I'm going guitar/tube-amp and that's it. I was thinking of going with a Line 6 amp where I could download different configurations and blah blah blah, then I stopped myself. I don't want my guitar anywhere NEAR my computer. If and when I'm ready to start recording though, these guides will certainly come in handy, so I agree this should become a sticky somewhere.
