Members Crescent Seven
I've started listening to them and I think I'm starting to like them. Does this mean I have to turn in my GOP membership card, and grow my hair out? I have them set up as a channel on Pandora, and the other jam bands that come on just don't compare with these guys. I've always known that Dave Schools was a killer bassist, but I never really gave much attention to the band because of all the hippies. Members electricface
I like rage against the machine, dead kennedys, john lennon, bob dylan, jimi hendrix, and sex pistols, doesn't mean I'm a zapista, anarchist, communist, socialist, anti-war, or anarchist. Members bassplayer7770
They've always been one of my fave jam bands too. One of my former bands actually covered "Wondering", which has a pretty cool bass "solo".

I can take WSP in small doses, but they wear on me after a while. John Bell's voice eventually starts to sound like fingers on a chalkboard. Schools is a beast though. Conversely, I could listen to Jimmy Herring play all day
Members Zamfir
My brother gave me a copy of Light Fuse, Get Away eight years ago. I like it. I saw WP on Austin City Limits a year or so ago. I got the impression that Bell can be a bit of a dick. :2c:

Members harrwood
I like them too. Jimmy Herring is an interesting quirky guitarist. Have you checked out Umphrey's McGee? They're a jam/prog band from Chicago with some phenomenal chops. The two guitarists are relatively egoless and fluid. Lots of great, free, live jamband stuff at www.archive.org
