Does he care enough to condition it when it gets dry? Bonus questions :WHY does he care so much about it? Is my wallet his bastard child? Is my wallet made from cows that used to belong to mike tobias?

Members tylytle
I think he cares about how much money he can pull out of it. That said, I wish I had enough in it to get one of his basses.

Members bassplayer7770
To me, his basses set a new standard for necks. I'm not sure I've even played an MTD 5-string... I will say the necks on the 5-string Skjold basses I played on Saturday were pretty amazing. I think Pete cares a little bit more about my wallet that Mr. Tobias as well... Members Bryan316
No longer interested. Until he makes string spacings and neck widths a little more comfortable for small-handed players, I won't play them. They're just such enormous oar-paddle-wide bastards and completely uncomfortable. Thin, yes. Fast, yes. Unless you're playing a 5 or 6 string, then they're bastards. I can't deal with these 19mm string spacings and 3/8" extra wood outside the strings.
