Members MrJoshua
I've fit a 5-piece band into my 10x10' studio room before. It can be done.

Members Renfield
I've fit a 5-piece band into my 10x10' studio room before. It can be done. Truth. I've also done a few gigs on the floor where the rest of the band was 3-4 feet up on a stage. I volunteered to be the guy down there, I like to move a lot, so thanks to a wireless, I enjoyed our entire set from the middle of our mosh pit. Members lug
I've fit a 5-piece band into my 10x10' studio room before. It can be done. I think you had just a little more room than he does.
Members MrJoshua
I think you had just a little more room than he does. Yeah, but we also had two people hanging out in there watching, plus all my studio gear, plus the pa and all the instruments ... A good third of the space was eaten up by studio gear. Members Brother Mango
Think showmanship!Build a scaffold and put the drummer and bassist on top. If the ceiling is too low, use the entire room and mix in with the audience.

Members Flatball
I'm not gonna rag on the owner because this is our summer gig. We play outdoors about 6 or 8 times a year and they treat us VERY well. Now he's throwing a private party inside (where there is never live music) in honor of someone very prominent in the Montreal media scene. It's a good opportunity. We'll just have to make it work somehow. Glad I have my wireless rig.

Members PaulyWally
I dunno. But I'm still wondering how they fit 8 people plus most of their equipment in a 4-door sedan after playing at Bob's Country Bunker in the Blues Brothers. Members Mudbass
I just won't take gigs like this. They arent't worth it. I figure 40 years of playing has earned me the right not to have to share the stage with a {censored}ing pool table. Pretty much like this. It's amazing how much less volume you need when your amp is 3 feet higher up than normal in relation to your ears.

Members Thunderbroom
We (there's 7 of us) played a wedding last year. The stage couldn't have been any bitter than 12' x 8' and was about 2.5' high. Five of us were on the stage and our singers were down below on the floor.
