No US Dates and no Jim Martin from this report... which is disappointing. The Real Thing and Angel Dust were two of the greatest albums ever.

FAITH NO MORE Reunion 'Confirmed' By MIKE PATTON's Publicist - Feb. 24, 2009

According to Idolator.com, former FAITH NO MORE singer Mike Patton's publicist has confirmed that the hugely infuential '90s alt-metal band will reunite for a summer tour. At the moment, it appears that the group will only perform in Europe and there are absolutely no plans to tour the States.

As previously reported, a source close to guitarist Jim Martin, who was in FAITH NO MORE from 1983 until 1993, has told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the axeman expressed interest in taking part in the reunion after being recently contacted by keyboardist Roddy Bottum and a member of FAITH NO MORE's management team, but that the band inexplicably decided to utilize a different guitarist

One of the most influential hard rock bands out there, IMO. I'm not a huge fan, but they opened the genre for thousands of bands to follow with a new style of music. Mike Patton himself has done that for plenty of other genres, too, and the guy's a madman. It's like every band he touches turns to gold for a CD or two.

So the singer of my band has contact with a bass cabinet manufacturer who is making stuff for Billy Gould. From what he heard from Billy, supposedly they are rehearsing right now for tour and in fact have Jon Hudson on guitar (the guitarist for Album of the Year). Well, if that is all is really true, they better come to the US now!

I still have no idea why no Jim Martin... Either they really hate the guy or he refused to learn the newer material.

He's making more money now as a giant pumpkin farmer than he ever did in FNM. He's also not done a whole heck of a lot in music since. He may have quit playing entirely for all we know. :idk:

Well, the article does say Jim Martin wanted in, but there's probably a conflict with a member still. Likely Patton
