Rofl. So IMO "media" has become a business and it's business job to make money, and to make money the "media" panders to what the general public wants to hear, creating improved ratings.. so this Liberal Media Bias is just good old free enterprise consumerism at its best? This is why I listen to NPR.

I saw the "documentarian" yesterday on "The Today Show" and he was acting like a {censored}ing crybaby. He was being interviewed by Matt Lauer, who was trying to ask pertinent questions, and all this guy wanted to do was argue about {censored} that Matt hadn't said. I'm as sick of conservatives bitching about the media, as I am about liberals bitching about conservatives.

Millennium theater

Get out there and buy that water and gas

Ramadan orange alert

Everybody put on your gas mask

First leak it out about the president

Then stand up and shout "impeachment"

Pulling coat tails out from under that little V.P.

Before he has a chance to get in the driver's seat

Millennium spectacle

Everybody put on a show

Slip a little prince in the back door

21st century here we go

Digital whiplash

So many formats so little time

While out in TV nation

Under darkening skies

The resistance is just waiting

To be organized

Millennium theater

Chief justice is for sale

Yucca mountain goddesses

Their tears they form a trail

Trickle down Israel

Patriarchies realign

The ice caps melt

And New Orleans bides her time

New Orleans bides her time

Ladies and gentlemen

Welcome to tonight's show

The millennium theater

Asks that you not smoke

Please turn off your cell phones

And forget what you think you know

My intention is to post it enough that it impels you to post about it. It looks as if the plan is working.

Nice. The power of your post compels me!

Media sells stories. They do what advertisers want. And advertisers follow the reach. It's like complaining about Warner Music because Nickelback sells so many records.

I think the Republican's gave Obama the election when they couldn't put up a candidate who was more attractive to voters than McCain.

I think it's even more simple than that.

According to David Brooks (on election night), we can predict with amazing accuracy who will win, based on 3 factors:

1. The party affiliation of the current sitting Pres.

2. How long that Pres has been in office, and

3. The economy.

Then Brooks goes on say that what he and his colleagues do are pretty much meaningless. :D

Makes sense to me!
