Members Rocko
I have a new jazz bass (mexico) and it plays well, but the highest string hits the pickup when i play on it. In order to fix it, i tried raising the action but it doesnt help enough. My friend told me to lower the pickup by just using the screws on each side of it...is that right? i have no idea what im dointy

Members Roguetitan
the PUP is probably too high. just adjust it down by screwing the adjusting screws clockwise. they need to be about 3/16" gap between the pickup and the bottom of the string
