Members Funkee1
This band epitomizes everything I love and hate about Smooth Jazz as a format, but there's no denying these doods can play!! So forget your biases, and just enjoy!

Members Cpt. Spliff
Easy does it with the pmuB. Let your most faithful listener have time to log in.Yes, they can certainly play and they play well together. Smooth yet bubbly. The piano solo didn't give me anything and the song less.Wasn't scat song meant to simulate instruments as well ? My old Man used to do it in a trio. He was mean at bass, drums and horns. Members Billystrat
arrrrrrrrrgh Mr. East the chorus/slap bass combo. Amazing playing just the sounds of Smooth Jazz kill me.

Members jonathan_matos5
not un-listenable. but completely ignorable. yep that is smooth jazz.
Members Hopi
very nice, Funkee...thanks.I don't know a thing about Mr. East's gear...got any deets? He has his own Yamaha sig 6 string bass. Think he "endorses" Aguilar amps. Funny thing is that after I stopped playing 10+ years ago. the cheezy Smooth jazz format is actually what got me back into playing bass, and re-learning songs like Seek and Destroy. Members Billystrat
Aguilar amps...hang on I'll watch the painful YouTube videos where he just brags about how lucky and talented he is to get more details.
Members Billystrat
Aguilar DB-750....Hmmm his website is down and the link to his Musiciansfriend.com interview doesn't talk much on his gear... Tell me how does this help "The Business of Bass" This is all just a jab at that terrible self help DVD. Nathan is an incredible player.

Members dwalmz
Well see....that's the thing with Fourplay.... If you have one of their CDs, you kinda have them all!Is it me or is Fourplay just not interested in any high energy fast tempo music? It's a shame that these 4 talented folks can only churn out snoozers!
Members dwalmz
very nice, Funkee...thanks.I don't know a thing about Mr. East's gear...got any deets?Dunno about his amps but he's been a Yamaha endorser for over 20+ years and has his own sig 5 and 6 string basses.
