Members txbass68
I am running a 700RB II which is 480 watts at 4 ohms. I am looking a maybe buying a Mesa 1516 which is 400 watts at 4 ohms. Am I going to be alright doing this? I am pretty sure the cab would be OK, but is the extra wattage going to be detremental to the cab? Of course I doubt I ever have to open the amp up to full volume.:poke:

Members txbass68
Thanks, I figured. But if I am going to spend the money on the cab with my limited budget, I just wanted to make sure.

Members J the D
You'll like the way it sounds. You should have a lot of headroom for good tone. I tun my 700with 235 watts at 8 ohms into a 200 watt Eden cabinet and have had no problems.
