Members L-1329 Posted August 26, 2009 Members Posted August 26, 2009 Oh man, Pyromania was huge when it came out, and it really stood out from all the rest at the time. I always really dug the tone of the guitars on that record, they had a sound all their own. Good dig funkee!

But it's a Misfits song that Metallica covered. you've got it backwards. it's a metallica song first, "covered" (horribly, BTW) by the misfits.
Members pamackie Posted August 26, 2009 Members Posted August 26, 2009 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Caress "Last Caress" was later covered by Metallica with the song "Green Hell" off Garage Inc. and The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited. Punk rock band NOFX also covered "Last Caress" on the Misfits tribute, "Violent World" Others who have covered this song include AFI on Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes, Batman, Eye Q, and as an acoustic song by Papa M, Daniel Jordan did a jazz/lounge cover of this song.
