Members zachoff
Moab Music Festival... Seems cool. The music isn't really my gig, but doing all of that other stuff seems super fun. Walks and raft trips and such... and I'm sure I'd dig the music if I was there. Seems to be the case more often than not. Plus, Moab is awesome. Members Low Stella
My parents have been several times, and rave about it every year. It's been on my list for a number of years, but I haven't yet made it. That natural rock amphitheater they haul a grand piano to supposedly has near perfect acoustics. And Moab is awesome! Members Super_Donut_Man
That would be something that I would want to go to. Sounds awesome.
Members slapthefunkyfour
As close as moab is to me, you'd think i'd have gone by now. I love classical music, but those ticket prices are outrageous. Seems to me like a thing for the rich snobs to get together and drink expensive wine and try to look wealthier than everyone else. $300 for the grotto concert? Get real. No, thanks. I'll just put my violin in a backpack and go hiking by myself. I can even bring my own pabst blue ribbon to drink while I play Bach's Partita #3 in E major for solo violin. Playing Bach's Double Violin Concerto might be kinda difficult by myself. This got me thinking. I'm gonna learn partita #3 again. I haven't played that song in years. I miss it.
