Members vladoicho
Enjoy the horrible neck! The neck is the best part of it! I'd love to try the wide-necked Streamers...

Members ToeJamFootball
I'm even thinking I might just get a 4 banger. I rarely use the B string on my 5 and 6. Yeah I think I'll go four, and then save for 5 to match

Members jasper383
I played one of the new Rockbass basses at my GC a few days ago (it looks like Warwick has revamped the Rockbasses to compete with the new Skylines, Tributes, and Sterlings), and it was fantastic. And they don't say "Rockbass" in big cheesy lettering on the headstock, either. Felt and played just like the real Warwicks they have in stock. At 1/2 to 1/3 the price, too. http://www.amazon.com/Warwick-Corvette-Rockbass-Active-Nirvana/dp/B0028K2U8K/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1253011095&sr=8-

My plan is to play a bunch while I am in the big city in a couple weeks time and make my choice then. I might even end up ordering a Custom shop, just because If I get a Streamer LX then I'd want black hardware.
Members Taustin Powers
My 4 string Streamer Stage 1 still has one of the slimmest and most comfy necks I have ever played. To me, it was always the Stingray necks that were really thick and chunky! They're great instruments - enjoy!
Members Cpt. Spliff
A to-scale representation of a 'wick's neck. Not my experience. They suit my hand nicely. Mind you, mine are '85/'93. I think they changed the profile at some point, but not sure.
Members perrydabassman
They must have. My corvette's neck is comparable to a Ibanez Soundgear. I am jonezing for a streamer 5 myself.
Members vladoicho
My corvette's neck is comparable to a Ibanez Soundgear. In that case they've changed dramatically. My Corvette's neck is quite similar to a URB's... well not really but you get my point. But that is really the thing I love the most about it. Maybe if the body could be a bit bigger... like a Streamer... anyway, awesome bass.
Members lonerstoenr
Must be a Melbourne thing right now, I'm thinking of getting rid of half my stuff:eek: Well I only own 2 basses, so I'm in the same boat - though I'd get another one after the thumb. Members WillPlay4food
I played a $$ 5 back in January and it took everything I had not to take it home with me on the spot. I've never played a more comfortable neck than the one I found on that bass. I guess it's an asymmetrical neck.
Members fretless
Things I liked , great tone , love the electronics , adjsut-a-nut is killer , Love the raw wood neck , great balance. Things I disliked , heavy , soft frets wear out fast ( biggest dislike) that was it , Great basses though IMO , Love the Thumb and Dolphin , Flashback , Fortress , Streamer , Spector hates that guy though
