Do you sometimes wish you could just plug your proccessor into yer home stereo system and have deliscious full sounding bass guitar? If you have a really big house and a home theater room that seats 100, then you might be in luck. Otherwise go elswhere cause these puppies are just too big for the average house and would be just rediculous in an apartment. No longer do you have to crave the sound of 15" woofers for your bass playing nor for listening to fave action movie dvds with loud gargantuin explosions. And for those on tight budget, these new speakers aere offered unfinished at a discount.

LMAO, saw these advertised in the october issue of stereophile magazine that got today. And thought you guys would get a chuckle out of one of the newest overkill speaker systems for home theater and stereo.

That has got to be the dumbest and most over killed system I have ever seen. Good Grief!

Imagine if those things were actually proportionate to the rest of your home. Where would you be living? Possibly in your neighborhood arena or civic center? Just plain stupid.

xpm....> I gotta agree, way out of proportion to all but a few mansions and castles. And is why I had to post it for a laugh. Price is absurd too. And hows anyone gonna be able to experiment with best positioning for sweet spot to sound? Youd have to have an industrial crane to move em around. Lets see lets try toeing em in a couple inches. LMAO

If I had a giant mansion and wanted such air movement ability Id just get pro jbl or pro klipsch sound system like used in night clubs powered by similiar pro sound power amps.

But he already knows the deal: he's probably ordering them from the same place you and I would.

No doubt. Finding a way to call him out in front of customers though...

I see it here too though. We carry a rebranded Asian-made mic in our lineup. A (to remain openly nameless) company in the US buys our mics, changes 1 capacitor and the preamp tube (for a noisier one at that) and resells it in a wooden box for $1400 more than ours (which sells for ~$200 to begin with).

A studio mag got a hold of theirs and ours and did a proper analytical bench test of both. Ours was deemed better in all specifications and to their ears as well.

RupertB.....> Good god theyve made the room into the inside of a giant speaker cab by appearances. Looking at those pics make me think they had to do major add to house size just to accomodate the air chambers. Eeeeek. Lol.

I like audiophile grade stuff but sometimes it just goes into the absurd looney realm for builds and prices. Other day audio advisor, place I buy stuff from sometimes, sent me an email about some sennheisser headphones. I love sennheiser headphones, but wont be buying these. Lol. http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SEHD800
