I sat down and listened to it and there's some good stuff on there. I can't wait to get a copy where I don't have to click individual tracks! It would also be a lot to do with the harmonies. A lot of what we heard as Layne was Jerry's voice behind. IMO. He is great though, pulls it off live aswell. And looking at the credits, DuVall only co-wrote one song with Jerry, which I knew ahead of time, and yet again explains why a lot of people say it sounds like his solo stuff- b/c technically it is! I'm really surprised at the new BB CD though (kinda x-post content from my thread earlier!). Easily their best to-date, IMO, and that's saying something coming from a pretty big fan.
