Members vanlatte
Gotta say, at first I wasn't sure what to think. But after a few times through it is really starting to grow on me. Sure it's different from the past, seems a bit more orchestral. But I like that
Members Ender_rpm
yeah, it's definitely more Euro than US in it's influences, which is kind of neat. Going to see them open for U2 tonight

Actually I wouldn't even have to, since U2 plays after and I could just leave after the good music is over But crap they never seem to come anywhere near Milwaukee... Members vanlatte
Yeah, at first I wasn't entirely sold on it, but I absolutely love it after a few listens. I think this is the hallmark of great music; when I think of all the albums I have that has endured over the years, it almost always started out that way. And come to think of it, anything really poppy and catchy right off the bat never seems to have any staying power. Like it gets old really fast. hmmmm... Not to mention the fact that hardly anybody does concept albums anymore, it's great to see it still happens.

They're on the same tour here in 2 weeks also. Day before my bday. But I refuse to fund U2, even for the sake of Muse...

I went to the show the previous night in Chicago, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Members Bones Malone
I agree, Muse is awesome. However, I prefer the guitar driven vs. synth driven music. Their guitar player is fantastic. Any of you guys use the traders' den?

Have your seen their HAARP dvd?? It's at sold-out Wembley Stadium over 2 nights. I've heard pretty much every show is like that, which is why they get such a rep for being about the best live band out there. Instead of guitar techs, they have little robots that bring their guitars out to stage when they switch. Freaking awesome.
