They're having a decent season thus far.

Oh, I've sorta kept up with it although I've only watched one game. I HATE watching football. Every damned play has to be shown on instant replay at least 2 times. So you end up having to watch the game 3 times. Not interesting to me at all. But from the little that I've watched and what I've heard from friends, it sounds like they're having a lucky season thus far. :D

This coaching staff needs to be served with their walking papers, including perhaps the current GM. I'm sick of the entire lot, well except for the special teams coach. I learned a lot about Smith/Angelo when Rivera's contract wasn't renewed after the SB season. Bye-Bye. I'd love to see Cowher here, but the ownership doesn't have a track record of hiring HC's with previous HC experience. That said, I'd put Rivera or Frazier (Leslie) at the head of my interview/wish list.

Lots of rumblings for Cowher in Carolina, back off.

You can have him? :idk:

FWIW, the Bears message board is loaded with people who think Shanahan would be great in Chicago. If they have problems with Lovie's defense, I think I'd really laugh at how unsuccessful his defenses were in Denver after Elway and Reeve's defensive players filtered out.

Good, I'll take him. :p

Also, yes exactly. Shanahan with a bamf defensive coordinator might work, but Chicago isn't really built to be run by a Shanahan imo.

:thu: 100% agreed....I was actually hoping for a 72-0 loss to get Angelo to wake up and fire those clowns...maybe himself, too.

One the receiver tipped into the air and the other 2 he simply tried to force the ball.

Forces coming later in the game, I suppose.

Thanks, Thudski...out here in Denver we're all keeping an eye on our former star to see how he does up there.

Orton has been quite a surprise to most...I think McDaniels may have really learned alot during his time at NE.

People have to remember that Kyle Orton was a Heisman hopeful until Purdue lost 4 straight (IIRC) his senior season. Also, he was awesome the first 7 games here last year until he got a high ankle sprain on his plant foot. Any accuracy he had was gone at that point. He's a winner, IMHO. I was sad to see him traded and thought the Bears would have been better served to replenish the offensive line. I really like Jay Cutler's arm, but he's only going to be as good as his line gives him time to be, just like any other QB in the league. The real difference between your Broncos teams from the past few years and now is that this year they have a defense. Nolan is doing a terrific job there.
