"Police spokeswoman Jodi Silva say the 40-year-old man had been drinking when an argument broke out with his wife over the missing video game."

Now How did I know alcohol was ionvolved somehow? Real Horatio Caine, I am!

At like 4:15AM or something like that too... I mean I liked Doom II a lot back in the day and would do 20-24 hour sessions, but I was on grape juice and Totinos, man!:facepalm:

I have a hard time taking a publication seriously when its named "The Chron"
:idk:

But that (the story) is just stupid.

People in Houston have a hard time with "Chronicle"- both the spelling, and the implied usage of the term. So they just shorten it.

And yes, it indeed is. I've only been down here a few months and already this kind of crap doesn't even surprise me anymore.

I think it's the humidity mixed with the petrol fumes mixed with the alcohol - the mixture petrifies the brain.

My 9 yo threw a similar tantrum during summer, when for some reason his DS malfunctionned and he lost his saved Pokemon games.

He cried and cried, ran outside and screamed, stomped on the floor for a while then prostrated in a corner and didn't move or say a word for almost 2 hours.

I did the only right thing I could think of. The DS stayed in my cupboard for the whole time of the vacation.

My DS is currently off to Nintendo to get repaired

(broken through wear, not childish tantrums I should point out)

One of my favorite television commercials was a long, long time ago. An overweight nerd was interviewing for a (apparently his first) job, and the interview asked what his greatest accomplishment was so far.

The boy began smiling proudly and announced that he once scored over 1,000,000 on "fill-in-blank" video game.

Unfortunately, this has grown to include men who should be working rather than playing games. Personally, I can name at least ten 30-year-olds or older who a) don't have and never had a job b) still live at home with Momma 3) drive a car (but not THEIR cars).
