Members In Absentia
OH MY GOD they are so cute and stupid! Aren't they illegal to own as pets in the UK? EDIT: Only European Hedgehogs are illegal, apparently.
Members t3ch
One of my childhood friends had hedgehogs and they were pretty cool. Lots of medical issues though and not really a whole lot you can do with them.
Members Super_Donut_Man
We used to rescue them from underneath the cattle grates on my uncles farm in Ireland.

Members Emprov
Hedghogs are cool. IIRC they require a lot more room though than does a hampster, which is probably the only reason why we don't have one.

Members Thumper
We had a hedge-pig in our garden in Germany. I saw it pottering about among the carrots one evening, pulled on my work gloves and picked up the little guy to show Mrs. Thumper, who was in the house on the phone chatting with her mom back in Minnesota. Me: Hon, we have a hedge-pig in the garden. Mrs. T, speaking aside as she continues talking to Patti: Yeah. Right... Me, showing her the hedge-pig: No, really. Mrs. T, dropping the phone and jumping to her feet: Holy F*ck!!! Are those dangerous? I had some explaining to do when I talked to her mom on the phone a few minutes later... I'm sure you can find one on CL if you are really interested. I always stumble across hedgehog classifieds in the pets section.
Members collinwho
I'm sure you can find one on CL if you are really interested. I always stumble across hedgehog classifieds in the pets section. Thats a bad idea for me. Hedgehogs require regular care (like most pets), and one thing I know about myself is that I am simply not home enough to provide that care. Its why I don't have any other pets right now, even though I would like to have one around.
