I saw something on Discovery the other day and a couple has a cat w/ the similar situation. Is on a diet, gets exercise, etc., still gains weight. They all get a 1/4 cup of cat food twice a day. 2 of the are average size (14 lbs) the one female is pushing 22 lbs. She's just a big cat.

The fat one even gets his food taken by the thin one. The fat one even chases his cat toy all night and gets plenty of exercise. Go figger. Members bbl
How heavy is that cat in the pic? Looks like one of ours, and he's 17 lbs. 1/2 a cup a day each (we have 3 cats). But our vet told us to limit them to 2 tablespoons per day. We just couldn't do it.
