Members Thrustin
I know I'm needed. I just don't know by whom. Maybe there's a good reason. It might lead to prostitution?

Members Thrustin
I'm serious. There should be a "Musicians Wanted" and a "Musicians Available" section of the forum, maybe split up by regions. I know there is probably a member of a band in Columbus that needs a drummer, or singer, or rhythm guitar player, that posts somewhere on the HC. We have no way of making that connection without a devoted section for musician hookups.
Members ColinLynch
yeah i agree, however the chances of actually finding someone within the area are slim and then you get into problems of genre and such. most would prob just turn to craigslist and put an add up. still a cool suggestion to those who use this forum daily. Members bassplayer7770
Thrustin, is Craigslist, CowtownMusic.com, ColumbusMusicOnline.com, and Cringe.com not enough for you? I'd say we could give you an audition on drums, but we're kinda in a weird spot right now...
Members Jammin_Bass
Sounds like a good idea. You can try Cragslist but I havn't had much luck.

Members Super Bass
Well, there could be but the adverts would be from all over the world. Ain't just Americans here!
Members ColinLynch
How has your search been going? The problem I find with Craigslist is age difference and genre difference. I mean you can say in your ad that your looking for "this age" and playing "this genre", but your always going to get something you dont like... maybe like an 60 year old claiming he can jam like he was 20. You've gotta give leeway in the ads you put up, your not going to find the "exact" right person. Thats why I think maybe having it in forum format might help, allowing you to see their profile and influence, and being able to talk to others through personal messages without having to produce email clutter. I dont know how many other forums do this, but I think HC has so many categories now that adding 2 more concerning this subject wouldnt be that much of a hastle. All in my opinion. It's fairly new, but I really hope it catches on. You can even post music and pictures in there. I used it to find the guitar player in my current bad and have auditioned a drummer from there as well.
