That page had some serious arterie-blocking disgusting {censored} on it.

A couple of the dishes looked mouth-watering, though. The deep fried jalapeno-popper nachos for example :D

Does anyone have any tips on how I can make crunchy, deep-fried jalapeno poppers, and deep-fried mozzarella sticks by the way ? I've been trying to make them "right", I just seem to {censored} it up every time. I can't seem to get the batter right.

I've done it but I really can't help you since I don't know where I found the batter. I'm guessing it has more to do with the heat of the oil. As Flea says, "Crank it."

Yo.

The trick to it is unsalted crackers, either oyster or saltine. For the poppers you dip them in egg and roll in the crackers before throwing in oil. for the sticks just get string cheese and some won-ton wraps. roll cheese in egg and wrap with won-ton, then roll in egg again and roll in crackers. the egg is needed to get the wonton to stick to the cheese, and the cracker to the wonton. for some reason crackers don't like to stick directly to the cheese.
