Members koti123
why is my Pbass humming like a singlecoil?I am at least the second owner and pulled the cover and it was wired different then the duncan schematic for a pbass. So I rewired according to SD's schematic and its still humming. it only stops when the tone is turned off.I pulled the coils and they are both working and look wired ok.are they not supposed to be in humbucker mode?oh and yes I tried a different cord.checked the bridge ground and its ok. Members dDigitalPimp
does the hum stop when you touch the strings? from the way you describe the tone knob thing it seems like maybe there is a bad solder on the tone knob, maybe the ground?
