Members fretless
so the Fender Demo has proved to be kick ass , and with that purchase comes 2 more free , so Ampeg SVX and Hendrix ( which has a killer Marshall ) and it looks like in a few more weeks another will be free . I think I'll grab the Miroslav . That's a ton of good freebies . http://www.ikmultimedia.com/Main.html?powergroup/index.php

I wish they put the SVT-CL preamp as an option instead of the BA-500. But the Flip-top and SVT are solid. I don't play a whole lot of guitar so the presets on Fender made it a whole lot easier. There were some nice Surf rock presets on the 65 Twin Reverb. Also I would have liked a Silver(or black)face Bassman with the 2 channels for bass and guitar but overall I'm pleased. Amplitube 2 and Fender are kind of process hog's, but that is mainly my PC Also, do you know how to integrate them all into one? I'm pretty sure its possible and probably pretty simple but I wouldn't want to actually read the instructions or anything. Now if only there was a Mesa, GK or Orange plugin

The Fender hit my Cubase cpu 10% which for me is not bad , I usually only run at about 3% with several tracks , I use a UAD1 so it's always free . Awesome, should save some time. I have the worlds oldest computer and with AMP2 in Reaper it uses ~45%

Members bassred
I use Amplitube 2 on my laptop (ancient Dell) with no problems. X-gear is awesome, but eats up a higher amount of computing.. Is really nice to be able to mix the various amps, effects and cabs from all of the programs, though. Scrapped all but amplitube 2, since I've beenn using it with my Presonus Audiobox Usb interface as a great live rig!!! Next will be the Stealth Pedal for real-time controlling... unless some else comes out with a more fully-featured solution that does not break the bank.. Apogee Gi0 looks absolutely great, but is only for Macs (bastards)...
Members fretless
You use it for a live rig ? With bass ? I Installed the SVX today and I dig it so far , always wanted a B15

I Installed the SVX today and I dig it so far , always wanted a B15 I've had the thought but am not in a band to actually do it. I'd even likely use the dual rigs you can set up in X-Gear to run two amp feeds for a stereo wet/dry rig. I know someone that does this though, all their music has sequenced backing tracks, so he actually has automation programmed in to change his patches for him at the right times. Members fretless
cool , the system would have to be rock solid , I could put mine in a rack case
Members bassred
You use it for a live rig ? With bass ? I Installed the SVX today and I dig it so far , always wanted a B15 Mostly for guitar gigs right now. I take a small combo for the stage sound, but run to a DI and through the PA... Though, I'd use it for Bass, too, it sounds darned good! My rig is solid (as solid as an old laptop gets, I don't have a lot of extra crap loaded on it.. Less than 1Gig of memory... I'm going to be upgrading soon, just because I'm using the laptop for more live and recording stuff...) I love the range of tones it gives you, right at your fingertips. With a controller to change patches, it'll be a very powerful live tool!
