....Back in the early early 90s I was the bassist/keyboardist/programmer for a techno-industrial band called Sphere Lazza...We were signed to Hard Records out of Denmark and later Cleopatra Records from California.

i just found this footage from a show we did in Indianapolis with Assembage 23...It says "Morpheus" but this song is actually called "Dirge" (I have no idea who is running Sphere Lazza's MySpace sites :D)

this is rather embarressing  - and this song isnt one of our better ones :freak: - but if I cant share this {censored} with you guys, then who can I share it with? :D

(Note: The audio is terrible but there is a Hot chick at 2:43 :D)

Enjoy

Nothing to be embarrassed or scared by here at all- which is saying a hell of a lot for early 90s. This is really good, I enjoyed all of it. Too bad I didn't know of you guys back then. :(

PS. The band name sounds an awful lot like your last name.

How on earth did you get signed in Denmark ?

Much of the electronic music scene was based in Europe. Germany and Scandanavia probably the 2 bigger markets.

Check out Innfest (Ennfest?). IIRC it's one of the bigger festivals in Germany every year. A friend has gone a few times.

Did your singer just plug a different club on stage in the first video about 1:35 mins in?
:cop:

I'm slightly irritated that the focus is almost always on the singer.
I can't see yer pretty face!

Yes, and yes. But my pretty face does show up for a couple seconds.

Except isn't that why we are bass players? I really don't like the spotlight. I much prefer to be in the background.

:D Glad you guys enjoyed it. Thanks

Like mentioned before, the electro scene was huge in Europe in the early 90s. You have to appreciate being a technohead back then - It was so much harder to do back then compared to nowadays as the technology was primitive: miles and miles of MIDI cords, sequencers that cant process a lot of data, early sampling technology, and tons of hardware. Plus, digital processing took FOREVER back then

Anyway, I was making tapes in the electronic underground for a long time, all of which got lots of air and club play as well as great reviews in old-fashioned snail-mail fanzines. Hard Records took notice and sent us a contract

Well, then, just for you, I'm gonna do my best to post another video tonight. unfortunately, I'll be playing the guitar again. Fortunately, my daughter will be singing.
:thu:

Sorry, I have to apologize. My daughter is very moody tonight. It's not gonna happen.

DRF, you guys kick ass. You should all move to salt lake where that band would do very well.
