I play mostly in Drop D, and from my experience hollow body "electrics" are to fragile for how I play, otherwise I would be all over 'em

:D I was a cheeky money again and just sent them an email. I asked them to bring one to Viva Las Vegas 13 so I can try one out onstage. :D

I played one for a little bit here in Calgary, but it was in desperate need of a tuneup. I'd like to try something of theirs in good shape.

Seems they don't focus much on there bass line, not that I blame them. They are known for their guitars and their drums, but if they made a 35 scale solid like their guitars, That would be the Biz! :thu:

GUFFAW!, don't know. I was kinda afraid to run that dawg.

I didn't know where to begin there was hi and low inputs, and channels and hi/low switches for each channel, I'm not used to any of that, and I didn't want to {censored} up some nice vintage gear with my ignorance. Matt (my luthier/store owner) was busy so I didn't get try it out :)

mmmm..that's beautiful - i've yet to play a new gretsch.based on that picture i may have to track one down.....

Seems to have gotten good reviews. It's made by Terada in Japan so damn good quality, although a little pricey. It has Trestle bracing like the Setzers. More sustain and less feedback. :thu:

It's the same as Chet's guitar that he had on the cover of the Workshop album.
