Members Emprov
link "(CNN) -- Cincinnati Bengals football player Chris Henry has died, police in Charlotte, North Carolina, confirmed Thursday. Henry suffered "life-threatening injuries" after falling out of the bed of a pickup during a fight with his fiancee, police said earlier...." Wow. Members bluedogaudio
Wow...that's too bad. I'm interested in what really happened. It sounds like he lost his temper and chased after his fiance and jumped in the back of the truck. If that's the case, not real smart.
Members Fireball_73
One of the headline acts for the comedy show I'm running tomorrow night is called Chris Henry! Don't scare me like that!
Members ezstep
I read about that yesterday, with "life threatening" injuries. Sad to see a young person die.

Moderators ThudMaker Posted December 17, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 17, 2009 Elin could learn a thing or two from Henry's fiance. What would that be? Don't let Tiger drive? Get behind the wheel instead of a nine iron? And it is sad news. Prayers to the family.

Members King Kashue
Isn't Henry the guy who was fined/suspended like 10 times in 3 years? Yep. Described as a "one man crime spree". It had sort of seemed like he straightened things out. If that was the case, it's sad to see him die so soon after (though the cause of death seems odd anyway). I bet we can open an NFL thread from a year ago with everyone talking {censored} because he was an idiot. If he got his {censored} together then more power to him, as I'd much rather root someone on than laugh at their folly. Having said that, ok, some guy died in questionable circumstances. Sucks for him. Moving along.

Being an idiot should not be a death sentence. Yes, a lot of what he did in the past very much paints the picture of a dumbass. Regardless, his death is still a very sad story. There are children who no longer have their dad. j-T5vgGPLSE

Members bnyswonger
Stupid shouldn't be fatal. People who follow the team felt that he had finally grown up. He was playing well, his teammates spoke highly of him, and he was staying out trouble. He was an extremely talented athlete, but unfortunately plagued by a penchant for making poor decisions off the field. It's a shame on a lot of different levels, but not really that surprising. You hate to see a young man with that kind of potential (and a young family) lose his life.
Members bluedogaudio
Stupid shouldn't be fatal. Shouldn't be, but it can be. I'm with t3ch on this one. It's too bad he died, but it's hard to be terribly upset for someone who's been a douche bag most of his life.
