Members Dark Slide
You bought that set this year? Dang. Btw, I think that house is the winner. Yeah, man. I didn't have it very long. A couple months. I was playing in my death metal band and really wanted to be able to practice at home because drums were how I spent most of my musical time... and then I quit and was just completely burned out playing drums. Members Thumper
Lots of sexay gear...there's other various parts and projects as well as a couple of truckloads of amp parts/shop tools. etc.. ( purchased from a retiring friend). Ian, I really should hate you, but I can't bring myself to it. The icing on the cake is the Cherokee, Pimp-rims, white trim and all. I've had mine since I bought it new in 1993. It just rolled over 210K miles, and it's an awesome rig-pig.Oh, and the rest of your new gear ain't too shabby, either. Members JacieFB
Haven't really bought anything music-related for a while. I did get some $$ that I'm saving along side of some aluminum can recycling money and some gear sales money so that at some point, I can buy a stoopid-expensive guitar amp.I did get a Little Big Muff pedal for Christmas.Today I also braved the after-holiday crowd and kicked ass at the mall. I got a bunch of nice clothes for little of nothing.

Oh, and the rest of your new gear ain't too shabby, either. hahahaha.you can't hate me because you know if you were closer you could borrow any of it anytime i don't know what it is about jeeps - i just love them. it took the axles, transfer case and brakes all going out at the same time on the last one for me to part with it .the plan is to drive this one untill it disintegrates or replacement parts dry up. i'm still adjusting to it though - it's got all kind of nancy options on it (everything but heated seats and a sunroof ) that i wouldn't have gotten if i had purchased it new but, it's been well maintained and babied (iirc it's got 189,00 on it now) and still runs and drives like new. did you have any major repairs around 200k? Members Thumper
did you have any major repairs around 200k?Here's what's gone wrong on Old Blue since we bought her new in 1993:1999: The driver's door fell off (hinge failure). I was in Bosnia at the time, so Mrs. T emailed me...Her: Hi, hon. The door fell off the Jeep.Me: Put it back on. See you in 6 months. Love, Thumper.2003: Windshield wiper actuator packed it in. $200.2007: Fuel pump sh*t the bed. $300.2009: Heater control valve froze up. $100.That's it. Both times it left me stranded I had it back on the road within 24 hours, courtesy of towing service offered by a great insurance company (USAA) and a kick-@ss mechanic (Bob at Car Automotive in Lake Oswego).I had the radiator and hoses replaced @ 200K as preventative maintenance, and I recommend you do the same.Otherwise, the darn thing is reliable as an old shoe. Keep on top of the scheduled maintenance and oil changes, and it'll run forever.

Members bassplayer7770
While I'm not especially clear on my purchases this past year, the only thing that sticks out at me is this:GenzBenz Shuttle 9.0 - 900w/500w in a 4 pound package. Using the Gain control, how "dirty" can that amp sound? I'm only curious how flexible it is. The bigger items I've bought this year include my Hanewinckel 5-string, my LDS cab, the Carvin BX1200 amp, and I'm happy I bought my Turbo Tuner ST-200 (MUCH better than the TU-2 I was using).
