Members flip333
Hi: Our drummer quit because his day job won't schedule him reliably for gigs. A drummer just got off the bus from New Orleans. I haven't talked to him but our bass player is going to. Hmmm, this guy has nothing. I don't know if he ever did. I am inclined to start doing background checks with auditions. I have lots of expensive stuff in my studio, and also, people who tend to go to jail are not reliable. What would you guys do? Members THB
1. Does he own a drum set? 2. Does he have reliable transportation? 3. Can he play what you play and be happy about it? If the answer to all three questions is yes, give him a shot. He doesn't have to be left alone in your studio to play for you.
Members flip333
I heard that the one thing he saved was his drum set! We will have to see if our music tastes match, and I believe personal chemistry is the most important thing.
