Nice setlist!

About a third of the songs are ones my band also plays currently, about 5 other songs are ones my old band did and some of the other tunes are ones I'd like to do or at least try sometime!

My old band used to do Don't Change as well, nice song. We played it closer to the way that the Goo Goo Dolls covered it, we were a 3pc (guitar/bass/drums). Used to get good response from the crowd as it's something that they hadn't heard it in a while and sounded "updated" the way we played it. You ever hear Everclear's cover of it?

"Into Your Arms" , thats Lemonheads I'm guessing??

"Creep", as in Radiohead or Stone Temple Pilots? (hoping Radiohead) :)

Just curious-- as I'm often the one in my band who takes care of setlists...... do you find that 10 or 11 tunes is enough for your sets? Cuz I've found that unless we cut an hour set a bit short or wind up talking alot between songs that we usually need to have 12/13 songs per set.

I love that song by INXS. I have never heard any other version of that song. We are a 3 piece band (guitar, bass, drums) + singer, and I love doing it on guitar. I don't think our version sounds a whole lot like the INXS one because of the keyboards.

Yes, Lemonheads and Radiohead. I'm actually not really a big fan of either of those bands, but I like those songs. :) On the set list that song called "I Am" is really STP's "Sex Type Thing."

Yeah I always do our set lists too. I try to make it about 1 hour per, which is "generally" 10-11 songs. We do tend to BS in between songs. I always try to have a few "extras" left for encores, but .... usually at the end of the night, if we played 30 songs, that's about it. We also seem to take long breaks in between sets...

I'd estimate 30 to 34 songs is a full night.

Of course it does vary.

HAMER - if you are interested in mp3's of Goo Goo Dolls and/or Everclear covering that tune let me know.

Let us know how your show goes with that setlist!

And how's Philadelphia ? I used to live in West Chester way back in the early 80's as a kid, miss it big time!

Philly is... Philly.

I've never lived any place else, so I wouldn't know any other way. I've been here all of my 34 years. :):(

Gig ended up not going well in my opinion. Crowd was ultra lame, gig was unorganized, I was not pleased with my playign at all.
