Members -=Pennywise=-
Whether it's at a gig or a practice, you can almost guarantee he'll lose a stick at least twice and fall out of his chair mid song trying to pick it up. Yesterday he near took my eye out trying to do a drum roll, and then two songs later I had my back turned and noticed the high hat in the beat disappeared, I turn around and he's in mid-fall trying to pick up a dropped stick again. faaack !!!!! Members fastplant
Most drummers drop sticks now and again, but I can't say I've ever seen someone fall off their throne. Maybe he should get a stick bag that he can hang on his kit somewhere.
Members conquerorworm
yeah, lots of drummers drop or break sticks mid song. extra sticks should always be within easy reach. if he can't afford a cheap stick bag (why wouldn't a drummer have a stick bag?!?!) then he could at least put an extra pair of sticks on top of his bass drum. Members Badside
Sounds like too much sweating Does he wear wrist bands? Did he try gloves? (he can just buy golf gloves for 10$ a pair)He could also put rubber covers on his sticks. Beside that, dropping a stick (or a guitar pick) is one thing, recovering quickly and transparently is what's important.

Members VSpaceBoy
He should fasten a small line the the base of each stick that runs into a retractible dog leash that he's sitting on. Every time he drops a stick it will zip back and smack him in the nuts.. problem solved.
Members MDLMUSIC
I used to call our drummer Godzilla. Everytime he'd walk across the stage, he'd yank cords out of amps, knock over mic stands, and generally cause all kinds of havoc. It got so we made him get to his drum kit from the back of the stage. Ya, we had to strategicly set up the stage to avoid such mishaps. One night he yanked 3 mic cords out of the board and wrecked the inputs. WOW! And this is good, I wanted him to help set up the lights. I gave him 2 large power cords to hook up the dimmers and he actually said, and I quote "which end goes in the wall?" WOW! Gotta love em!
