Members Kesa
ok, Hope this does not sound too stupid! I play in a cover band and we do the typical bar stuff (the must play songs) and a mix of covers that other bands dont play in our bar scene here. Im working on our press kit and I would like some opinions on the logo. The band name is Social Hazzard, and I was thinking about the name in a script looking font. Now because were a cover band will this not look cool? I know alot of hardcore bands seem to use scripit for names sucah as poison the well. Any opinions or suggestions? Members Tedster
With "Hazzard" (with two z's) in the name, you'll want to include the General Lee in your logo.
Members SanDiego333
Why not let a local graphic artist or student or two give you some samples in exchange for giving them credit for the logo / font in your materials....
Members worthyjoe
Why not base your logo on some kind of hazard sign that you might find in a nuclear plant or something? You might as well work off the hazard element. I'm by no means a graphic artist but I do enjoy using my Macromedia Fireworks image editor. PM me if you'd like me to try a few things I can show ya. Members worthyjoe
There might be lots of things you could use as a base to create your logo with. Change the color of this to back or another color and it might be cool. http://www.safelearner.info/downloads/icons/BE%20Safe%20Jpegs/Hazard%20Face%20Mask.jpg
Members VSpaceBoy
I agree with worthyjoe, using a sign would be cool. Then you would want to use a block lettering type of font to match and that would look very cool! something like this
