I think you're the kind of guy who has to put others down in order to bring your own self esteem up.

And I think you're full of {censored}.

Touche!

You're right, though. We'll never agree, so let's leave it be.

I'm sorry but I think you're full of it too.

I've learned more from Bluestrat than anyone else on this site and when he goes after an obvious spammer.(He may be a nice guy and he may have got away with it but face it he spammed this thread.) He get dumped on by the likes of you. Say what you like but I don't like what you say.....

Now there's an opinion I can respect. Good words.

(I think the topic poster was ridiculed and belittled because that's how some here build up their own self-esteem and vent their frustrations regarding their own music biz failures. This appears to be a pattern when newcomers arrive, it happened to me as well.

I believe new comers should be encouraged to post, welcomed, and treated in a friendly manner. IF they PROVE themselves to the spammers or scammers THEN make fun of them, not before, when done before it's called 'prejudice'. Just my opinion, ain't worth much.)

Good post, Blackwatch. I'll look forward to reading more.

Amen my brother, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

(And I still LOVE that quote of yours: "Say what you like but I don't like what you say.....". With your permission I'd like to use that one in the future.:D )

And he hasn't been back since, either. ;)

Pardon my opinions, I'm kind of new here.

I may not agree that it's a good idea to ridicule newcomers' posts, but if that's been the established practice it should continue.

It's funny in a way, I mean I could never do, it but if it trips someone elses trigger I say go for it.

After the welcome the dude received I think he's probably signing up for high speed broadband internet as we speak so he can get back here faster. :thu: Just kidding - I really don't care.

Everybody's happy.:)

well you can just shoot em all and let the mods sort em out....its like joining anything new, you will always get hazed. if you stick around then you have passed the tests and if you leave and feel unwelcome (god knows i have for a minute or two) that feeling will pass because the most vocal people agaisnt newcomers always seem to be around.

and yet you should respect to some degree the wisdom these guys have attainted by living it for so long.

kudos to anyone who put their lives on the side to make a living at music.

It's one thing to humbly ease your way into a forum, test the waters a bit, see who has opinions on what, and then post a 'bye the way' small blurb about what you do. That's polite.

But this guy, however nice as he may be, blasted right in with 4 posts, with absolutely no concern for how anything would be taken. He spammed this thread avertising his schtick. I wouldn't have a problem with it except people keep defending him. He did what many others have done and it was right that he was called on it. End of story, and that's all I've got to say about that.

And no you don't have my permission to use anything but I don't see how that will stop you. hey but it's all good fun fun heh? LOL
