Members Beachbum Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 Oh, I read your entire article. I love straight-up honesty with little sugar coating. If this type of writing is what we can expect from you, I can only wish for more. Stick around and tell it like it is.
Members BlueStrat Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 Um...why do you have a "pseudonym" on the myspace page? http://www.myspace.com/morristk

Mainstream media apparently frowns upon cussing...who knew?

Hasn't anyone told them that this is 2006 and they're lucky to have a gig?
Members BndGrl Posted March 16, 2006 Author Members Posted March 16, 2006 Thanks! Apparently they haven't got the memo. I did hear that Vince was backstage bitching about the empty seats when one of the backstage help looked at him and said "Well for $75 what do you expect? You aren't the Stones!"
Members bonscottvocals Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 $75? You have GOT to be kidding. I wouldn't pay $25 to hear all 3 of their big hits. The only thing that keeps them in the news is Tommy's antics on reality tv and his private movie with PA.
Members BndGrl Posted March 16, 2006 Author Members Posted March 16, 2006 My friend bought his wife tix for Christmas. For 2 tickets + taxes + fees it came out to $175 for effin Motley Thrue.

I got to see BB King, Buddy Guy, John Hiatt, and Tommy Castro in the Gold Seat section for 60 bucks a pop, or 120 a pair! 175 for frigging Motley Crue?
Members BndGrl Posted March 16, 2006 Author Members Posted March 16, 2006 That's why there were only 3,900 people at a place that holds 10,600.
Members Beachbum Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 VH1 or MTV (whichever gives those guys air time) has really inflated Motley Crue member' egos to the point where they think they're great again. Only 3900 seats filled out of 10,000 and Motley Crue probably blames it on Roanoke. Thanks for the story, I'll save my money if they play around here.
Members way2fat Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 If Tommy Lee can't play drums any better than he could with the Nebraska marching band, I'd say he's lucky 3,900 people bothered to show.

Yeah, but, like, his drum set spins around and {censored}, dude!
Members jackcheez Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 Knock him all you want. The guy CAN play drums, but if that was all he did, most of you wouldn't even know his name.
Members BlueStrat Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 THESE guys are drummers. Tommy Lee couldn't carry any of these guys' stick bags.
Members way2fat Posted March 17, 2006 Members Posted March 17, 2006 Sorry jackcheez, I did see him on the Tommy Lee goes to school thing and he embarrased himself.
Members LateGreats Posted March 17, 2006 Members Posted March 17, 2006 I can't stand Motley Crue, but The Dirt was a great book.
