Somebody better page The Dead - Bob Weir (who might be 60 now) still wears shorts at most of their gigs. YOU'RE 48 YEARS LATE, BOB!Come to think of it - so do I. I also wear t-shirts with printing on them. People like to see what they say.

Members Janx Posted March 24, 2006 Members Posted March 24, 2006 This is actually an interesting thread. I think that any outfit that looks like a uniform or throwback to spandex 80's metal is asking for a beating.... But you also want to look consistent (maybe). Having the bass player show up as a ultra goth chick, and the lead player showing up in a suit may or may not be cool. I always liked Anthrax's costume mentality. They wore what they normally wore when they weren't doing a show. Heck, even with a t-shirt, what shirt you wear might matter. Do you wear an old concert shirt. Do you wear you band's shirt (not cool). Do you wear some other band's shirt? Do you wear something obscure? For metal, I suggest that the band not look like clones. Nor wear too much leather as to look contrived. Get some jeans, t-shirts and go rock.
