I jammed with this guy a year ago at a party, he seems pretty cool and he has his {censored} together musically in terms of being a good reliable player it seems. I hope it works out, since we are both pretty much stuck in the 80's metal type of thing, so it should click.

and since he doesn't drink, we can use him as the stage watchdog between sets! he's like 6'5" @ 300 lbs. I look like a dwarf next to him.

Give him hell, get the drummer to try & throw him off his timing, change key without any prior warning, bass players really piss me off:mad:

well {censored} me, things were going just fine lastnight during the first hour, then a surprise visit.

The drummer also called in a keyboardist to try out with us. This guy was a great player and all, good attitude, but his musical tastes are SO not what I want to do, basically we couldn't do anything off the setlist written on the board. So everyone else tried to play what he knew, I ended up being lost since I didn't know any of the stuff they played.

Now the singer and drummer want to keep the keyboardist as well and basically {censored}-can the whole setlist we had for "keyboard compatable" tunes. WTF WTF WTF ?????????

I give up, I'm selling my {censored}ing guitar.

If the band is playing music you don't want to play quit. Unless playing with this band is your primary source of income, there's no reason to do play something you don't want to play.
