Members spdolan Posted April 2, 2006 Members Posted April 2, 2006 We started as a hippierock cover band, and are now working originals into the mix - the cover thing helped us establish ourselves, and now we go for the artistic side and fold in some originals, then more originals. and then we will be all originals with the occasional deep cut cover Of course, this takes a while. Members renier Posted April 3, 2006 Members Posted April 3, 2006 we play an all originals set ussually, but for some odd reason, we cannot end a gig with any other song then the pixies's "Where is my mind?" we ussually make it a little more raw, like placebo plays it with frank black on the "soulmates never die" DVD. for us; it's perfect. everybody knows it, but it's not too obvious. we ussually do a little break where there's just bass guitar, drums and a lot of oe-hoe-ing, were ou singer goes into the crowd to get everybody to sing allong. then into a grand finale with screaming guitars, banging drums and an oe-hoeing crowd. god, do i LOVE that song!
