Sure, they have a familiarity about them, and that's what probably made us think they had some potential in the first place. Thanks for listening!

I was tryin to be all artsy n {censored}.Eh, nobody ever gets it. That's kinda what I was talking about before. Most people go to a site for a reason (to see pics, hear songs, etc). They don't want to spend time trying to figure out how to do that, they just want to do it right away. 99% of people decide if they want to be at a site within 10 seconds of entering it. You need to make sure they find what they want within that time frame.

The reasoning for the design and layout was to make it something slightly different from the 8 billion other band websites out there. If music is art, why not approach the website the same way? We were kinda following the Tool mindset of make it visually appealing but keep an air of mystery to it. Not to mention that since we're pushing our originals, we have more leeway to monkey around with our approach. But this is all kinda trivial at this point as Sir Squealie is in the midst of a complete site redesign.
Members Blackwatch Posted March 31, 2006 Members Posted March 31, 2006 we don't take ourselves seriously at all. Well I'm really relieved.....because I didn't take you seriously either:D :D You know I was spoofin' you......

You can never tell how tracks actually develop. Like I said, just how my ears caught it. No prob. You're a good band. I dig it.

I can see both sides of this; I like that it's different and takes a bit of thinking to get around. But not everyone is like me. Maybe it's just as simple as adding a little pop-up on mouse over that explains what the terms mean?
Moderators Lee Knight Posted March 31, 2006 Moderators Posted March 31, 2006 I love your music. I don't usually go in for newer heavy stuff because it just comes off sounding silly to me. Fake angry... but you guys have something special. A cool attitude and vibe all around. You don't sound like White Zombie but there's a parallel there somewhere. You need to hook up with Terry Date as a producer. What you've done is awesome but I wouldn't be suprised if someone like Date would work out a deal that benefits you both. Good luck. Burn Georgia Burn!
Members Marlin in Minn Posted April 1, 2006 Members Posted April 1, 2006 Please have pity on me...I'm cheap and on an old slow dial up so I can't listen to the downloads. Would you all recommend this as a Cd for me to purchase?
Members BlueStrat Posted April 1, 2006 Members Posted April 1, 2006 Well, let me say congratulations. You have managed to produce some good, solid, commercially viable rock music. It's well recorded, mixed and produced. The music is not 'cutting edge' by any stretch, but it is something that a large number of people will like. The vocals are very good, the playing is as well. I think I heard a double bass drum, or at least pedal; I'm not a fan of double bass rolls but that's just me. At least your drummer keeps time, which is more than about half of them can say. If your live show is anywhere near as good and professional as your recording, I can see why your calendar is full. My only criticism is one I have of most rock bands, and that is I am skeptical that most of them can get the sound live that they get in the studio. It's a small matter really, and one of personal taste, so take it for what it's worth. On a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a 8.75. All in all, very nice job.

You are never happy, are you! TK421: I would consider this the highest of praise.

Members cherri Posted April 2, 2006 Members Posted April 2, 2006 Much of what I would have to say has already been said by others. Just need to add that I was impressed. I'd buy a ticket to see you. I like the web site. It took me a few minutes to figure out the links, but I checked it all out. Very artistic. Your vocals are wonderfull. Well written, well executed and well recorded. I listened to all the tunes - dug the arrangements and as I said already, liked the writing.
