While we're posting "gig reports"...

I was asked to join a band who recently lost their guitar player with gigs on the books. I had 3 weeks to learn 30 songs, so they wouldn't be forced to cancel a gig last Saturday.

Well, I pretty much dropped enough clams to make a chowder, but somehow managed to make it through the night, have a great time, and get paid for doing something I love, so I guess the stress of the last three weeks was worth it.

Is that a hockey puck in your pocket?? ;):p

Well done. I like your bassist's Jazz. I used to have one like it but traded it fool-heartedly.

My first guess would be a tin of 'baccy.

Though in fact I have a bubble-tape (type of kid's bubble gum) plastic round box I keep picks in, that's the same size and shape. I've often wondered if people thought it was chaw.

It's these:

A hold-over from my smoking days. I used to pop them after a smoke to try to keep my breath from fouling the air of non-smokers I worked with, and got used to them, so I kept on eating them.

What kind of Godin is that?

I played one at a music store on a trip once. It was set up perfect and sounded wonderful for $500.

It's an Artisan TC. I don't think they've made them for some time.

It originally sold for $1500, and I traded a speaker cabinet for it.

Best guitar I've ever owned, but the resale value on them is {censored}.
