Depending on the specific event and your band's situation, it might be. But if you expect the "contest" part of it to be legitimate and fair, it's unlikely. Exactly.
Members DonaldDemon Posted April 4, 2006 Members Posted April 4, 2006 BOB's are lame and totally unrepresentative of the bands talent but on the other hand they are a great way to win a crowd over and gain fans. We have played a number of them and never won but its not because we suck and in fact we always gain fans everytime we play. We just played one a few weeks ago for a spot on the Bamboozle Tour, which is all emo rock (Fall Out Boy is the headliner). We went in knowing we were going to lose but also knowing that we would win a lot of people over. We are not an emo rock band nor are we teenagers (mid to late 20
