Members Hamer_Time
Good sound guys don't really need any special handling - just be ready when they are to do the line checks, let them do their thing, interact in a normal, respectful way and the results will almost always be good. Bad sound guys are a whole different story and there isn't much you can do to change the fact that they are {censored}ty soundguys because they a) don't care anymore, b) are just plain lazy or c) don't know wtf they are doing. Luckily, there are still more good guys around than bad.
Members Daeveed
At least, make sure the monitors are pointing directly at your heads. If you stand too close to them, the sound will go to your chest rather than your ears. If possible, stand about 3ft back from them.
Moderators BATCAT Posted June 6, 2008 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2008 I just say "please give me as much of my vocals as you can in my wedge" and leave it at that.
