Members JoeDirt Posted March 29, 2010 Members Posted March 29, 2010 I think he's talking about mosh pit types @ gigs.
Members flanc Posted March 29, 2010 Members Posted March 29, 2010 Right...at first I thought he was talking 'bout strippers. Can't be chasing away the strippers:p
Members Vito Corleone Posted March 29, 2010 Members Posted March 29, 2010 Right...at first I thought he was talking 'bout strippers. Can't be chasing away the strippers:p Absolutely not! Strippers-at-gigs has pretty much been my whole reason for existance the last 20 years or so...
Members ErikHoppy Posted March 30, 2010 Members Posted March 30, 2010 Whenever I'm at a show and a mosh pit starts up around me, I just keep my elbows at eye level, and am usually not bothered.
Members bengerm77 Posted March 30, 2010 Members Posted March 30, 2010 Also, that whole "core" dancing thing is running out of steam. Everyone is starting to realize how stupid that is. I've taken to kicking them in the ass; it sends them lurching forward and they lose their rhythm.
Members flanc Posted March 30, 2010 Members Posted March 30, 2010 A mosh pit at a huge concert is one thing (still not my scene) but in front of a band at a club...just dangerous, a step closer to fighting and a step closer to breaking up my lights, PA, instruments, etc. If the club has security, they are normally shut down or tossed.
Members Brian Krashpad Posted March 31, 2010 Members Posted March 31, 2010 Depends entirely on the venue, music being played, and how the people are moshing. Can be perfectly appropriate and relatively safe, or stupid and dangerous.
