Hello there guyz!

I've a little prob in wiring my rig...

I will use this setup:

Korg Tuner DTR-1

(Parametric dual chann. equalizaer)

Cry Baby rack wha

Bogner Fish

Mesa Triaxis

T.C.Electronic G-Major

Rocktron Intellifex

Mesa Simul Class 2:90

Sure i need a switcher and a line mixer...Do you suggest me to use the GCX or the Axess GRX-4? I think also that i will buy a CAE line mixer since is the only one currently produced!!!

Is it true that only the DMC footswitch works with the GCX?:mad:

A couple of things...

I'm using a DMC Ground Control pedal with an Axess GRX4. It works flawlessly. If you need four loops, get the GRX4, and you will be very happy.

Have you considered Skrydstrup or Sylsonic for your mixer needs? Both mixers are in current production and are manufactured in Europe.

Hope this helps,

Nick

I'd get the Axess GRX-4 since its small, midi controlled and definitly excellent for the price. Also, I would recommend Mario anytime.. His customer service and help are definitly top notch.

anyways.. to wire up the rig, I would probebly put it this way myself:

Guitar

Cry Baby rack wah

Korg Tuner DTR-1 (Use extra output on Crybaby)

Parametric dual chann. equalizaer

Axess GRX-4

(loop 1) [send]Bogner Fish[Return]

(loop 2) [send]Mesa Trixis[Return]

(loop 3) [send]T.C.Electronic G-Major[Return]

(loop 4) [send]Rocktron Intellifex[Return]

Mesa Simul Class 2:90

Are you running stereo or mono??

Duke

i'm running in stereo...Mario wrote me:

usually don't supply rig diagrams until an order has been placed, sorry. from looking at the gear you have, you would need one of our bs2's http://www.axess-electronics.com/_bs2.htm and two of our http://www.axess-electronics.com/_grx4.htm to switch your gear. the bs2 would need to be modified with an extra audio isolation transformer on the split output and the cost would be an extra $30usd. so pricing wise you're looking at;

$120usd bs2

$ 30usd bs2 mod.

$440usd grx4 x2

-------------

$590usd s/h is extra

I know that Mario is one of the greatest and kindest "gear head" out here but if i have to buy 2 grx-4 maybe is more convenient for me one GCX Audio Switcher...?....

I would be concerned about the noise with the Patchmate. I haven't owned one, but from what I've read over the last couple of years, I know several owners have had problems with their units.

Good luck,

Nick

PS: Longhair: I'm unsure if Sylsonic has a web presence.
