Reverb tanks.....I don't get it.

Got some questions about reverb tanks. Can I put it in my effects loop? What kind of hookups do they use? How do I control the amount? can I have more than one tap for multiple reverb settings? Which is better for guitar amps, 3 spring or 6? Basically, how can I make these work for me?

I've thought of using digital processing but I want more of a warm analog sound. Think Jimmy Pages reverb on Stairway. Now you know what I'm talking about. OR anyone who's heard the solo to Uriah Heep's Paradise/The spell. Good Lord!! Its beautiful. Thanks in advance!

a lot of your questions could be answered by either emailing or calling the manufacturer. your spring reverbs are going to be more authentic, but your digital reverbs are going to be infinitely tweakable. last i checked, lexicon was the king of reverbs but i like kurzweil and eventide reverbs. the latter is the most in-your-face, but still rad.

and yes, you could put it in the fx loop.
