Rock Master tip

The Rock Master was collecting dust so I decided to experiment a bit.

About the only complaint I read about the Rock Master is that the 'clean channel is sterile'.

One complaint I have is that anything above 3 on the clean channel is way too loud compared to the high gain channels.

The solution was placing a 50K pot in the clean channel efx loop which now acts as it's master volume. With the output padded down I can enjoy the tones that seem to come alive with the preamp set above 6. The pre on 10 sounds excellent with slight OD.

A similar pot in the 'common efx' acts like a master volume for reduced volume playing WITHOUT changing every volume knob.

This is the first preamp and the only preamp I've kept after lots of experimenting.
