Whats that effect called?

That rack piece that delays 1 side of a stereo signal by 1-20ms, so the sound is much thicker? Kinda sounds like two guitars...

I dont think its called "Delay" or "Chorus" or anything like that, its just a straight adjustable delay.

Can you give me a couple brand names + model of products that do the "stereo doubler" thing?

Are you running stereo or mono? Stereo will get you the full effect you're talking about. Mono may sound a bit sloppy depending on delay time.

 

As posted above, most multi-FX units will do this effect , as well as, pedals with a mix control. The mix control, whether it be rack or pedal, needs to be 100% wet.

 

Rocktron: Intellifex, Replifex, MultiValve.

Digitech: TSR12, TSR24, ValveFX

 

MXR: Carbon Copy (pedal)

 

It's an easy effect to pull off, so a LOT of gear will get you there. :thu:
