Members bigjd Posted November 28, 2009 Members Share Posted November 28, 2009 It's been out for awhile now and I'm thinking of dumping my G-Major for one.The thing I really like about my G-Major is the delays and pitch shift.How does the GSP 1101 compare?What are some user real life gigging guy opinions of it? Members drewl Posted November 29, 2009 Members Share Posted November 29, 2009 I've had my 1101 and Control2 for about 6months now and I absolutely love it.Great sounds, you can use it before an amp, in the loop, use preamps with it, many combinations.Go to the website and download the manual and read about it before buying one, I did.The delays are fantastic, as are the wahs, fx and stomp box models and amp models.If anything the pitch shifting is it's only weakness.It sounds good with 4ths, 5ths and octaves, but on 3rds and 6ths it can warble a little and you have to fret very accurately.That is the only downside of the unit I've found, but it's not that big a deal for me to not use it.
